PodAsia suggestions for things to do include: Visit to the flag lowering ceremony at Wagha Border. Which is an impressive and exciting ceremony that takes place every day between the Pakistan-India border at Wagha which is 29km from Lahore. The ceremony begins with the handshake of the Captains of the two countries followed by fierce determination to upstage and out-march the soldiers of the other country. If you are a foreigner, make sure your get there a little early and sit on the front rows of the assembly area. Don’t be afraid to ask to sit there; highly worth it. Men on the right, women on the left - take your camera!

This week, the good Doctor tells us about Deep Venous Thrombosis (DVT) affects mainly the veins in the lower leg and the thigh. It involves the formation of a clot (thrombus) in the larger veins of the area. This clot may interfere with circulation, and it may break off and travel through the blood stream (embolize). A resulting embolus can lodge in the brain, lungs, heart, or other area, causing severe damage to that organ or, at worse, death.
